Rare 7 Dial Calendar/Alarm Skeleton Clock
Rare 7 Dial Calendar/Alarm Skeleton Clock. Here is probably the rarest skeleton clock you will ever see-- one with 7 dials, and providing the time, in addition to the month, day of month, day of week, and even a revolving moon dial. It also has a seconds hand/dial above the time dial, and it has an alarm with dial. So, what else would you want from such a tremendous clock? It has an 'A Frame Movement', and the clock strikes on the hour and half hour on a large bell in the rear of the clock. It has spring barrels to hold the mainsprings, and each gear is made to last of heavy guage brass. It sets on an oval wooden base. Here is a clock you can show your collector friends and they definitely will not have anything like it. Just look at the lines on this great Seven Dial Skeleton Clock. ProClocks has made this clock only in a very limited number of 10 pieces worldwide. It measures a huge 25 inches high and 18 inches wide, with a 4 inch diameter time track roman numeral porcelain dial. This complex clock starts with a subsidiary seconds dial on the top, totally distinct from the rest of the dials. Then, there is the time track, with the alarm dial just below it. Then, below and going from left to right, there is the day of the week dial, day of the month dial, and on the far right is the month dial. Immediately below these dials is the moving moon dial. This clock is very intricate, and one of only five pieces made. The original of this piece sold for $53,000 about ten years ago, and we used it to make our five exact pieces. This is truly a great piece, and one to show to all collectors you know. It has an eight day brass movement with strike on a 4 inch diameter brass bell, located on the back of the clock. The base is finished in ebony and it sets on four bun feet. The oval dome is in excellent condition, fitting snugly over the clock and on the base. This piece is a tremendous investment, and also something you will always find intriguing.
